Hilton is currently having an offer when you buy points giving you 80% extra as bonus.
You have to be logged into your account to see the offer. You can log in here
Note the offer ends on the 9th of February.
You will be buying points for approximately 0.56p per point which depends on your evaluation, it can be worth it. Some properties will always be lucrative to pay in cash if the cash is less than the points needed.
The maximum amount of points you can buy from Hilton per year is 80,000 points with the promotion you will receive 64,000 points extra so 144,000 points for the total price of $800 / £556.
If you have plans on visiting Makkah for Umrah I would consider buying points and using them to bring the cost of hotel lower. Or use them for very expensive properties elsewhere in the world
Here is how this will look like for some dates end of May just before Ramadan in Makkah.
You can be saving approximately £500 for a 7 day stay. Don’t forget that both spouses can take advantage of this offer so you can both end up with 144,000 points each.
The cash price for 7 nights in May with Haram view is £1400. If you were to buy the full offer of 144,000 for £550 you could stay 7 nights and pay in total 140,000 points (£550) + £420 = £970 saving you £400 for the whole week. Not bad deal!

Perfect for Honeymoon
One place I want to visit this year insha’Allah (God willing) is Mauritius and the Hilton Mauritius definitely seems like an excellent choice on cash and points. You can easily save £600 there as well for your honeymoon or a relaxing holiday.
The resort in Mauritius costs £200 per night so not very cheap. Total for 7 nights is £1400.
If you were to buy the points with this offer and use them you will receive a saving of £600 for the 7 nights and pay £800 instead of the £1400.
Hilton is one of the options during Umrah and with more properties coming it will be a hot spot. I will be buying the points for this promotion since i can see value in using them in the future whether it is for Umrah or for a holiday somewhere else.
